Hello! I’m Amy, and together with my husband Ben, we are blessed with two beautiful kiddies, Charlie and Matilda. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our cherished Groodles, Penny (female) and Steven (male), who are both desexed and very well-socialized.

When we were planning our wedding in 2012, we were disheartened to find no services available to include our beloved Sharpeis, Demi and Chloe, in our special day. Realising that many other couples faced the same dilemma, we were inspired to create Wedding Paws in 2013. This service is dedicated to ensuring that pets can be part of their owners’ most significant life moments.

I’ve always felt a deep connection with animals, and starting Wedding Paws was a natural extension of that passion. Our pets, with their unique personalities and loving nature, bring immense joy to our lives. We’re committed to helping others experience the same joy by making sure their pets have a special role on their most important day.

Amy went above and beyond for our babies. When planning our wedding we made sure that we would have our fur babies there no matter what and Amy made that possible for us. We had full trust that she would look after our babies and she did that without question. Both our bubbas looked so comfortable and shined throughout the day. We can’t thank Amy enough for making it possible to have them apart of the biggest day of our lives. I would recommend Wedding Paws to any couple wanting to share their day with their fur babies. Amy brought our very excitable Border Collie to our wedding on the weekend. She can be quite a handful and demonstrated some of these skills at the wedding, however Amy handled her with ease. Unfortunately it rained during our ceremony and Amy was quick to get an umbrella over Daphne to keep her dry while she got wet herself. If that’s not dedication I don’t know what is! We couldn’t imagine our wedding without having Daph there and having Amy look after her meant we knew she was in safe hands. Thanks so much Amy!

Where do we start Amy, you are totally amazing at what you do! Thank you for looking after our Bailey boy with such love, patience and understanding. Bailey was always going to be part of our wedding day but we didn’t know how that was going to work until we met you! Bailey is 16 years old, has a myriad of serious health conditions, is now regularly experiencing confusion, is hard of hearing, his sight is not great either and to top it all off he has an anxiety disorder. Amy you took all of this in your stride and gave him the time, respect and love that he needed. You were both shining on the day and I think you brought the best out in him. You took the time to come and have a meet and greet before the day and we believe this gave him the confidence to love you on the day when there was so much happening around him. Thank you for spending the entire day with us so that Bailey could stay for the reception. Our friends adored you! Any friend of Bailey’s is a friend of ours so welcome to the family, we can’t wait to celebrate his 17th birthday with you – where you will be invited as a guest this time!

Amy was nothing short of amazing on our day.. it was ridiculously hot and Amy made sure the dogs were kept cool all day. She was accommodating to my last minute change of time, and felt like one of our guests. out of all the vendors we had- Amy was definitely one of (if not the) BEST !!!!!!

Highly recommend Wedding Paws. Amy looked after our dog Kobe very well during ceremony and photo sessions. She dropped Kobe home after the ceremony and made sure he’s safe and sound and left lovely toys and treats for him. We are very happy with Amy’s service.

Thank you Wedding Paws for bringing our big fur baby, Audrey, to our wedding. Audrey is a large Bullmastiff who is so excited by being around people, for this reason I was slightly concerned if someone else would be able to handle her around so many people. BUT I don’t know why I had even the slightest of concerns…Amy was absolutely brilliant with her! She handled her with ease and got her to sit and drop for some gorgeous photos. Wedding Day Pet Assistant services start from $90 per hour. There is also the option for your pet to stay overnight at Wedding Paws HQ (Sydney only). Travel time and kilometre surcharges may apply.
